Historical Background

Mityana Community Pentecostal Church Ministries (MCPCM) is a Christian-founded ministry working in Uganda with urban and rural communities. Established in 1999 under the visionary leadership of Pastor John Kamulegeya, the ministry was birthed out of a profound burden to bring both spiritual salvation and practical upliftment to vulnerable populations in Mityana District.

We believe God’s kingdom breaks through powerfully where Jesus Christ is acknowledged, adored, and obeyed as Lord. From our permanent church campus at Nalugazi LC I, Naama Parish in Mityana, we focus on disadvantaged and vulnerable groups — providing quality spiritual care, primary schooling for over 120+ orphans, and vocational artisan apprenticeship training so individuals and families can achieve lasting self-sustainability and map out a hopeful future.
